The Kamado Joe Classic III has all the features of previous Classic models with an added new innovation, a revolutionary SloRoller Hyperbolic Smoke Chamber insert which harnesses the power of cyclonic airflow technology distributing smoke and heat in rolling, recirculating waves. In this way the SloRoller surrounds food in clouds of delicious smoke whilst evenly distributing heat, enhancing flavour and significantly reducing hot spots.
Mounted on a heavy duty galvanised steel cart, the Classic III is easy to manoeuvre on its four castors, two of which are lockable and extremely stable. Two folding cast aluminium side shelves provide useful workspace.
The Classic III has Kamado Joe’s signature thick walled, heat resistant ceramic shell that locks in smoke and moisture at any temperature. A self-activating stainless steel latch and all new, double thick wire mesh fibreglass gasket, with 10x the life of normal industry gaskets, offer a superior air tight seal.
An aluminium Kontrol Tower Top Vent regulates the air flow and hence temperature control. The vent is rain proof and rust resistant. A built-in thermometer allows you to monitor the internal temperature of the Classic III. An air lift hinge aids opening the heavy dome, reducing its weight by 96%.
Inside the Classic III there is an Advanced Multi Panel Firebox. The six piece design allows for heat expansion and eliminates breakage. A stainless steel charcoal basket with a maximum capacity of 2.7kg allows you to quickly separate leftover charcoal from the ashes, ready for the next cook in seconds and a slide out ash drawer takes the hassle and mess out of emptying your ash.
Finally, the three tier Divide & Conquer Flexible Cooking System is a revolutionary multi-level, half rack design that frees you to cook different foods on various surfaces at different temperatures simultaneously. This flexible cooking system effectively doubles the cooking space available.
