The Ooni Koda is an award winning contemporary outdoor oven, winning a Vesta for innovation in product design and technology and a Retailer’s Choice Award at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, both in 2019.
This compact oven is ready to go within seconds of removing it from the box - simply flip open the foldable legs, insert the cordierite stone baking board and connect it to the gas. It is supplied with a propane gas regulator and hose, so all you need is a suitable gas bottle.
The shell is made from commercial grade cold rolled carbon steel with a high temperature resistant powder coated finish. It is insulated with 20mm mineral fibre for great heat retention and finished with a custom cast aluminium frame.
The Koda has been designed for speed, convenience and ease of use. The oven features instant built-in gas ignition and is ready to cook in just 15 minutes. The temperature, which can reach up to 500°C, can be varied with the heat control dial. You can cook a Neapolitan style pizza, up to 12” wide, in just 60 seconds. A flame keeper device carries flames down and onto the food for flame cooked flavour.
However, with this oven there is no need to limit your menu to just pizza. Why not try roasting fish, meat or vegetables – sear steaks – even cook a casserole or lasagne?
The Ooni Koda weighs in at just 9.25kg and is compact at 40 x 62 x 18cm (WxDxH), so this oven is reasonably portable. The cooking surface measures 33.7cm square.
The Koda is fitted with a built-in Flame Safety Device which will automatically cut off the gas supply to the oven if the flame is extinguished whilst the gas is on.
