This hydraulic set mortar is non-soluble in water and resistant to rain and frost. A pre-mixed powder, you just need to add water. It is not recommended that you add a cement dye or pigment, any colour will need to be applied after the cement has set.
Heat resistant to 1200°C, there is sufficient quantity to render the Mila 60 oven to a thickness of 10mm.
This cement will not enhance the thermal mass or insulation of your oven. If you wish to do this, you will need to render your oven with Heatproof Screed.
This Cement will take a minimum of 24 hours to dry, depending upon weather conditions, before you can apply any further finishes.
Whilst Outdoor Oven Cement does not in itself require curing, you will need to cure your finished oven to ensure all moisture from the various layers has evaporated otherwise you will experience cracking.
This cement will leave you with a smooth grey finish which can then be painted, with an exterior paint, any colour of your choosing.
