The Turkey Fryer is very popular in the USA, used to fry whole turkeys which sounds a strange thing to do, however it produces the most tender and moist turkey you have ever had - no dry turkey anymore.
They are used in a very simple manor - just place the turkey on the stand provided and lower it into the hot oil inside the 30 quart pan then around 1½ hours later the turkey is cooked to perfection and not at all burnt or greasy.
The skin on the outside is lovely and crisp, often rubbed with herbs and spices first for extra flavour. The meat inside is succulent, not overcooked or tough. The turkey fryer really does give great results and is good fun to use.
Not just for turkey, this pot can also be used to fry chicken wings, fish and much more - it will cook chicken in a matter of minutes, with the same great results. Alternatively use it to boil a load of mussels, crab, lobster or shrimps, make chillis, curries, soups - create a BBQ with a difference! Suitable for outdoor use only, you will need to provide a suitable burner that is large enough to hold the pot with enough heat output to ensure the oil or water can get to temperature.
The Turkey fryer aluminium pot with lid is supplied with a poultry rack, grab hook for removal of the turkey, 12 inch thermometer and a marinade injector, together with full instructions for use.
If you need a suitable burner, please add the 9.2Kw Foker Burner to also receive the large cast iron burner which has three independent valves for greater control of heat distribution. You will need to obtain a hose and suitable regulator for the burner.
