There is nothing nicer than to watch birds visit your garden and what better way to encourage them than to have a bird table. Feeding birds in winter is particularly important but food shortages can occur at any time of the year and you will be doing your bit to support these beauties.
Common visitors are generally starlings, robins, blackbirds, blue and great tits and sparrows, all of whom have their own personalities and are entertaining to watch.
This Verwood Bird Table is ideal for small to medium gardens. Made from furniture grade red pine with a slate effect roof, this attractive bird table incorporates a nut feeder and perches. The feeder forms the ridge of the roof and can easily be removed for replenishing.
The wood has been treated with an animal friendly preservative which includes a UV filter to protect from the weather and sun. The roof is made from a lightweight but tough composite material made from recycled plastic and clay called Ardesia. This material is stronger than natural slate with great thermal and acoustic qualities.
The table is 35 x 32 x 32cm (HxWxD) and sits at a height of 1.3m. The overall height of the table and stand is 166cm and is supported on a sturdy 70cm square base.
Supplied in two boxes, the table is fully constructed whilst the stand is flat packed and will require some simple assembly.
