This charming solid wooden bird table has an attractive timber roof and matching decorative side panels. Made from European softwood and dipped in a bath of animal friendly preservative so it can soak into the timber, providing maximum protection.
The table benefits from deep sides, minimising the chance of food spillages and has perches on the side, providing extra space for waiting birds.
Ideal for small to medium gardens, this table has an overall height of 163cm with a 70cm square base for stability. The feeding table sits 1.3m high and measures 32 x 32 x 32cm (HxWxD), perfect for feeding our feathered friends a varied diet.
Robins, blackbirds and song thrushes enjoy mild grated cheese, along with dried raisins, currents and sultanas whilst thrushes, tits and starlings will tuck into apples, pears and other fruit. You can also feed garden birds with cold baked, roast and mashed potatoes with added real fats, cooked or uncooked pastry and of course, bread in moderation. The aforementioned foods may be sourced from household scraps relatively inexpensively but birds also love a variety of seeds, peanuts, mealworms and fat balls too.
The table comes in two parts, the bird table which is fully constructed and supplied in one box, and the stand which requires some simple assembly and comes in a separate package.
