This BB02 Freestanding Bio-ethanol barbecue is made from steel with a cast iron grill surface. It has a 1.5 litre stainless steel fuel tank incorporating ceramic fibres for greater resilience to leakage. Flames can be adjusted by sliding the lid on the fuel tank. A long reach handle which attaches to the lid makes adjustment easy.
The BB02 BBQ Grill allows you to cook with real flames without the need for any connections, bags of charcoal or large gas bottles. Enjoy the pleasures of cooking with real fire without the inconveniences of hauling heavy fuels, cloying smoke or odours whilst cooking and finally the chore of cleaning the ashes and dust away at the end.
Fuelled by naturally produced bio-ethanol held in an onboard, refillable tank, the BB02 only releases small amounts of water vapour producing a clean burn. The high quality burner has a duration of around 3.5 hours when filled and produces the equivalent of 2kW of heat.
A cast iron grid with ridges provides a healthy and efficient cooking surface. Cast iron heats up quickly and the ridges not only allow fat and grease to drain away from food, but also scores it with tell-tale barbecue sear marks. The cooking surface is 47.5 x 30cm providing adequate space to cook up a feast for a hungry family.
As it is freestanding and not tethered by power cables or gas hoses, the BB02 BBQ Grill, weighing in at 13.8kg can easily be positioned as required.
This product requires minimal assembly and comes with full instructions. As with anything that uses a live flame, the BB02 should be positioned on a sturdy, flat surface at least one metre away from any flammable materials and should not be left unattended.
