Waterside duck nesting box -

A very attractive traditional style of nest box, the "Waterside" is suitable for most of the medium to large sized ducks. A Square box with a rectangular entrance which allows access for the duck down into the nest area.

The lid of the nest box is hinged at the back. The duck nest box is designed to be pole fitted and this is done with an ingenious design which allows the box to be slid on to the top of the pole and firmly fixed in place with one screw accessible through the top of the box. When the box requires removal for cleaning, etc there is no need to remove the stake as well. The screw is removed and the box slides off the top of the pole. It can then be replaced without disturbing the pole.

Included with this box is a ladder giving access for the bird from water/ground to entrance of the box, the ladder being attached to the front of the box with hooks and eyes, thus allowing the ladder to find its own level on ground or water.
