This particular Owl Nest Box has been designed in conjunction with Ian McGuire, who is dedicated to British Owls and their Conservation.

A very substantial Owl Nest box and has a perch attached for the Owls to sit on. Even the shape of the perch has the Tawny Owl in Mind!

An inspection hatch is built in to enable the Tawny Owl Nest box to be cleaned when not occupied.

Siting the Tawny Owl Nest Box:

* Tawny Owl Nest Boxes should be sited with in groups of trees - Churchyards, Woodlands
* Sites so that the access hole is facing between North east and south east
* Site around 3 metres high
* Ensure there is clear flight path access to the box
* Tawny Owls will not like a location which is busy - cars or humans
